What is Padel?
Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in Europe. Originally from South America, this sport resembles a combination of tennis and squash. Padel is played with 4 people on a rectangular artificial grass pitch. To play you need a padel racket and a padel ball. A padel court is 10 meters wide and 20 meters long and is completely surrounded by walls. In almost all cases, the walls are a combination of glass and a fence. These walls are part of the game, just like with squash. However, this is only allowed if the ball has bounced in the opponent's box. The point count of Padel is the same as the point count of tennis.
